Alena is an AI-powered mock interview platform that helps job seekers practice interviews and receive professional feedback. For just ₹149, you get a personalized interview session with 12 questions tailored to your resume and job description, plus detailed feedback using STAR methodology.

Q:How is this different from other interview prep tools?

Unlike generic interview prep platforms, Alena generates questions specifically for YOUR resume and the job you're applying for. Our AI analyzes your background, skills, and experience level to create a realistic interview experience. Plus, you can answer via voice or text, and get instant professional feedback.

Q:Is Alena affiliated with any employers or companies?

No. Alena is an independent interview practice tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any employer. Your results are for personal use and do not carry official weight with potential employers.

Payment & Pricing

Q:How much does it cost?

₹149 per interview (one-time payment, all taxes included). No subscriptions, no hidden fees, no recurring charges. You pay once and get full access to your interview and results.

Q:Is my payment secure?

Yes! All payments are processed through RazorPay, a licensed and PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway in India. We do NOT store your credit card or banking information. Your payment details are encrypted and handled securely by RazorPay.

Q:Can I get a refund?

Refunds are available in the following cases:

  • ✅ If you didn't receive your interview link within 24 hours
  • ✅ If payment was charged but the interview wasn't activated
  • ✅ If you were accidentally charged twice
  • ❌ No refund once you've started the interview

How It Works

Q:How do I start an interview?

Step 1: Fill out the form on our homepage with your name, email, resume (PDF), job title, job description, and experience level.
Step 2: Pay ₹149 securely via RazorPay.
Step 3: Check your email for the interview link (usually arrives within minutes).
Step 4: Click the link and start your interview!

Q:What happens after I pay?

Once your payment is confirmed, our AI immediately processes your resume and generates personalized interview questions. You'll receive an email with your unique interview link within a few minutes. If you don't see it, check your spam folder or contact us.

Q:How many questions will I get?

You'll receive 12 questions in total:

  • 2 opening questions (warm-up)
  • 9 main interview questions (behavioral, technical, situational)
  • 1 closing question

Q:Can I answer via voice or do I have to type?

You have the flexibility to choose! You can answer questions by speaking (voice input) for a more realistic interview experience, or typing (text input) if you prefer. Our AI uses Deepgram to transcribe voice responses in real-time.

Q:Can I pause the interview and come back later?

No. The interview must be completed in one session. You cannot pause, save, or resume it later. Plan to set aside 30-45 minutes for the full interview.

Q:Can I retake the interview?

Each interview link can only be used once. If you want to practice again, you'll need to purchase a new interview session (₹149). This ensures the integrity of the evaluation process.

Results & Feedback

Q:When will I get my results?

Your results are delivered instantly after completing the interview! Our AI evaluates all responses within 30-60 seconds and sends your feedback report to your email.

Q:What does the feedback include?

Your feedback report includes:

  • Overall Score (0-100): Combined rating across all questions
  • STAR Score: How well you structured answers (Situation, Task, Action, Result)
  • Culture Fit Score: Evaluation of soft skills, teamwork, communication
  • Hiring Recommendation: Strong Recommend / Recommend / Maybe / Not Recommend
  • Strengths: What you did well
  • Red Flags: Areas to improve
  • Question-by-Question Breakdown: Detailed feedback for each response

Q:How accurate is the AI feedback?

Our AI uses proven evaluation frameworks (STAR methodology and culture fit analysis) that are used by top companies like Google and Amazon. However, AI has limitations and may not always match human judgment. Treat the feedback as guidance for improvement, not as the definitive truth.

Q:What if I'm unhappy with my score?

AI feedback is subjective and for practice purposes only. Unfortunately, dissatisfaction with your score or feedback does not qualify for a refund. Use the feedback to identify areas for improvement and consider practicing again to see progress.

Technical Questions

Q:What technical requirements do I need?

You need:

  • A stable internet connection
  • A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)
  • Microphone access (if using voice input)
  • PDF resume (max 5MB)

Q:What if I experience technical issues during the interview?

Technical issues on your end (poor internet, browser problems, device issues) are not grounds for refunds. We recommend testing your setup before starting. If you believe there's an issue on our end, contact us at support@alena.ai with details.

Q:I didn't receive my interview link. What should I do?

First, check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there and it's been more than 1 hour since payment, contact us at support@alena.ai with your payment transaction ID. If we don't resolve it within 24 hours, you're eligible for a full refund.

Privacy & Security

Q:Is my data secure?

Yes! We use SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmission and store your resume and interview recordings in encrypted cloud storage (Supabase). We comply with the IT Act 2000 and implement industry-standard security practices. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Q:Do you sell my data?

Absolutely not. We never sell, rent, or share your personal data (resume, responses, email) with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share data with trusted service providers (OpenAI, Deepgram, etc.) to deliver the Service.

Q:Can I delete my data?

Yes! You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at privacy@alena.ai. We'll delete your data within 30 days, except for payment records that must be retained for 7 years per Indian tax laws.
